IPS Convention in Hanover, Germany

We hereby kindly invite you to attend the meetings of the IPS Convention 2006 in Hanover, Germany on 4 – 7 May 2006. The Convention consists of meetings of the IPS Executive Board, the Scientific Advisory Board, some of the eight IPS Commissions, the Annual Assembly of National Representatives and a Field Trip.

All meetings will be held at the Hotel Jägerhof in Langenhagen, where we have also pre-booked your accommodation.

hajql_b5.jpgThe room rate for a single room incl. breakfast is € 55, for a double room € 75. Please contact the hotel directly to book your rooms, mentioning IPS, at the latest by 20 April 2006.

Cancellations can be made until one week before the meetings, after that the hotel will charge a no-show fee of 80% of the accommodation price.

For the lunches and coffee breaks, we ask you to pay € 40 for each meeting day, 15 € for the excursion on Friday and € 60 for the evening excursion and dinner on Thursday.

Please fill in the registration form and return it by 30 March or, at the latest, 20 April 2006 (€ 30 higher registration fee) to the IPS Secretariat.

Location

The Hotel Jägerhof is a country hotel located about 10 min drive from the airport Hanover (taxi costs around € 7 -9). The venue offers a large number of cosy single and double rooms as well as well-equipped meeting rooms.

In the evenings, the guests have the possibility to enjoy sauna, have a massage, go for a walk or have a rich typical German dinner in the restaurant of the hotel.

Hanover is the capital of Lower Saxony in Northern Germany, the federal state with the most and largest peatlands in Germany.

Registration fees

To cover the costs of the meeting, we ask you to pay the following costs at the Hotel Jägerhof when checking out:

Accommodation and breakfast:                    55€ /night
Meetings, lunches, coffees and soft drinks:    40€ /meeting day (Thu and Fri)

The following costs are charged by IPS in advance of the meeting (we will send an invoice)

EB-SAB dinner and excursion to Herrenhäuser Gärten:  60€
Excursion on Friday:                                                   15€
